My Commitment as a Speaker
It is a privilege to stand in front of a group with a mic and a chance to chat about the virtue of chastity—a privilege I take seriously. I’m happy to give chastity talks for young adults, youth (middle school and older), parents, or entire congregations at churches (Catholic or Protestant), schools, universities, conferences, and retreats. As a speaker for your event, I commit to thorough practice and prep and I commit to prayer: my own and that of others who support my ministry, for all who’ll attend your event. Send me a note to inquire about booking.
What Others Are Saying
“Having listened to presentations on chastity for the past 20 years by a variety of presenters, I did not think that there could be anything new under the sun. Had an opportunity to listen to Arleen Spenceley at a relationships workshop this past weekend and found her to be intelligent, fresh, and able to present guiding principles that were immediately accessible to both teens and adults alike. For once, I walked away from a chastity talk encouraged, equipped, and inspired!” | CHRISTINA WEBER, Director of Marriage and Family Life, St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Sunbury OH
“Arleen’s message is challenging, but so important. And for real, she has the timing of a stand-up comedian.” | ABBY WATTS, MC of the “My Life. My Faith.” Women’s Conference
“In a society that teaches that sex before marriage is normal and even necessary, Arleen brings a message of chastity … Her personal testimony and her willingness to talk openly on what sometimes can be a sensitive subject really connected with our students.” | JEFF DYE, Minister of Students at Northcliffe Baptist Church in Spring Hill FL
“Promoting chastity and virginity is almost impossible. Not only does Arleen have the courage, she does it successfully with solid theology, personal wisdom and the tremendous gift of humor.” | SR. CLARE HUNTER, F.S.E., Director of the Respect Life Office for the Diocese of Arlington in VA

“Arleen was a wonderful addition to our Theology of the Body course and young adult weekly bible study. She spoke with humor, truth and energy and was able to touch all with her stories and real-life experiences. It’s refreshing to see someone who lives out chastity and has so much joy. She is the new wave in the reclaiming sexuality movement.” | CARRIE GIEBEL, Director of Young Adult Ministry, Diocese of San Diego
“Arleen is a dynamic Catholic speaker. Her honesty and commitment to living a faithfilled life in today’s society are refreshing. She was engaging, funny, self-deprecating, and encouraging all at once. What a great resource Arleen is to other young Catholics, and how lucky we all are to have such a great young adult as a voice for our Church!” | BECKY MURPHY, De Fide Ministries, Diocese of Orlando
“Arleen is a dynamic speaker who was able to keep the audience engaged, attentive, and entertained at the same time while discussing a topic that is not easy to approach. She brought inspiration to the young Catholic audience through her energetic and deep presentation.” | ANTOINE FADDOUL, Catholic Fellowship of NYC
“Spenceley presented such an authentic, honest, personal message of chastity while being fully aware of today’s current culture of sexual impropriety. (She) showed great stage presence and spoke in a way that everyone present could easily understand, (and) offered practical tips and encouragement to living in a way that would not only help single young adults stay chaste but really find true love.” | JUSTIN LANTZ, Director of Young Adult Ministry, Nativity Catholic Church in the Diocese of St. Petersburg
“She conveyed an important message about chastity that challenges young adults to critically think about how they are practicing this virtue. Arleen is a dynamic speaker, and her talk provoked great discussion amongst our crowd afterwards. She poses thoughtful questions for a wide range of young adults!” | KASIA SULLIVAN, Coordinator of Evens – Office of Young Adult Ministry, Archdiocese of St. Louis
“Her witness that being a virgin until marriage is still a possibility and that chastity throughout life is everyone’s calling was invaluable, as the college campus is screaming the contrary to our students.” | AFTON CATERINA, FOCUS missionary at the University of Florida
“There are few speakers who are able to captivate an audience the way Arleen does. Her bubbly personality and personal stories make for a dynamic presentation. Her approach is unlike any other in that often times, in the chastity speaking world, we hear of people who have had a promiscuous past and then came back to the faith. This is not the case with Arleen, as she has always been committed to living out chastity and is speaking about it from a virgin’s perspective. This makes for a new window into how people can commit early on and successfully live out chastity. Her presentations include the fact that anyone can start living chastity today, as it does not matter what has happened in the past. Arleen’s sense of humor and ability to relate as a young adult puts her audience at ease, which is important for such a sensitive topic.” | JACINTA FLORENCE, Generation Life
“Arleen is a gifted speaker whose candid style enables her to speak about chastity with humor and authenticity. The teen girls and their moms appreciated her straightforward approach which kept them engaged throughout her talk and prompted many questions during the Q&A. Arleen provides a compelling and joyful witness to the beauty of the virtue of chastity.” | CATHY LOH, Director of Family Life in the Diocese of Palm Beach
